DSCH & beyond
Unser neues Album DSCH & Beyond wurde in der Sendung „Die besondere Aufnahme“ bei Deutschlandfunk Kultur ausführlich vorgestellt und von MusicWeb International besprochen:
„The Eliots are obviously immersed in the idioms and sonorities of the Shostakovich Quartets, and their performance of the Meyer is authoritative with a feel of genuine spontaneity. […] They dispatch the fugue in the last movement with clarity and passion, and their handling of the muted conclusion is perfectly judged. […] An excellent recital then.”
(Die Eliots sind ganz offensichtlich tief in die Klangwelt und Ausdrucksweise der Schostakowitsch-Quartette eingetaucht, und ihre Interpretation des Meyer-Werks ist souverän und wirkt zugleich spontan.
